With a passion for nutrition….

Roundtable Nutrition is the culmination of experience and education gathered by Catherine Staffieri, MS, RDN.  Catherine worked at Greenwich Hospital providing outpatient dietetic services as well as working at with a local cardiologist in Greenwich providing nutrition services to a cardiac patient population.

Catherine works with individuals, both adult and pediatric, to offer them client-specific nutrition counseling on a wide range of topics, including weight loss, cardiac nutrition, medical nutrition therapy for GI disorders, autoimmune diseases and many others.

Before pursuing a career in nutrition, Catherine worked in finance at various hedge funds and asset managers in the investor relations, client service and marketing areas. She gradually realized that though the financial markets were interesting, health and nutrition were really her true calling.

She has spoken to parents about raising healthy eaters, lectured at local churches and businesses, and currently sits on the board of a local nutrition education-based nonprofit, Better Beginnings.

Catherine has a Masters of Science with a concentration in Nutrition Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She completed her dietetic internship through Columbia and became a registered dietitian nutritionist.  She also has a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.  She completed her Certification in Weight Management Training through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

I believe that good nutrition should be a fundamental element in everyone’s life.

We must take care of our own bodies and minds, and also promote good health in others.
